Kory Watson (percussion, backup vocals) showed early musical promise, playing snare drum in the high-school marching band while still an eighth grader. In high school, he was a founding member of the band Aluminum Base Frying Pan, which later changed its name to Mercury Base Frying Pan to appeal to a broader demographic. He eventually traded in his monotonous Rust Belt existence for a more coastal lifestyle, living for a while in California and finally landing in Boston. Kory also plays drums for the Brighton rock trio The Common End. |
